课标阅读要求

1.能正确的朗读课文;

2.能理解并执行有关学习活动的简短书面指令;

3.能读懂简单的故事和短文并抓住大意;

4.能初步使用简单的工具书;

5.课外阅读量应累计达到4万词以上。

 

考纲要求】

1. 能根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义;

2. 能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系;

3. 能找出文章的主题,理解故事的情节,预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局;

4. 能读懂相应水平的常见题材的阅读材料;

5. 能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息。

◆阅读理解考察方式为:单选阅读、回答问题(简答)

 

重点难点】

1. 掌握关于阅读的相关技巧并巩固和加强本单元情态动词在丰富语境中的运用。

2. 提高学生的阅读理解能力,使学生按照老师的要求和指导准确地完成阅读任务。

 

教学内容】:

Pre--Reading:

 Reading skill: Making preparations for acquainting general idea of an article.

Look at the picture . Guess what the passage is about. To personalize the target language and prepare students for the subsequent reading activity.

What will you do if you are unhappy?

When you are unhappy about something, who do you like to talk to

   Why?

 

While--Reading:

 Reading skill: Reading is to understand every word of the text; Reading is extract information from the text.

IRead the passage and find out the rules for Molly.

注:这样做的好处在于学生能多感官接受相关信息,有助于对所分离出的信息进行反思及再判断,提高正确性。

1. Which rules do you think are fair ? Why?

2. Which rules do you think are unfair ? Why ?

3. If you were Dr. Know, what would you say to Molly ?

注:课后就课文内容开展讨论有不少优点。首先,可让学生加深对课文内容的理解;其次,可以培养学生的批判性思维能力,也可以培养学生口头表达能力。

I IRead the second letter and find out Dr Know s opinions.

 Culture Focus: In the US, many schools will have a specialist guidance counselor. This is a person that students can talk to about personal matters. The guidance counselor will usually try to be impartial. They will not take sides in an argument or be judgmental. They will usually give advice and offer support. They wont tell parents or other teachers what has been discussed. Common issues discussed with guidance counselors are things such as feeling stressed about tests or exams, being bullied or problems at home.

 Emotional education: Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. We have to follow the rules because we need rules.

IIIIntroduce the different parts of the letter in the outline on the board.

IVRetell the passage.

Reading skill:Retelling is to remember the text.

Post--Reading:

Reading is to learn new wordsexpressions and language structures.

IGrammar---Language structures.

leave作为动词,表示“留下、剩下”

Homework arrangement is to consolidate the knowledge.Use knowledge to solve problems. Check whether the students have mastered the learning content.

2. Write a letter for help to Dr Know. Tell him about all the rules and how you feel about them.
